Acne scars can be called a big and very troublesome problem, especially for women. Initially the pits of acne scars appear due to our hands that often touch pimples, even squeeze them. 1. Dermabrasion

2. Chemical peel (exfoliation with chemicals)

Usually chemical peels are done to cure sunburned skin, irregular pigments, and small holes in zits. By lifting the top layer of the skin, the skin will reappear (regenerate) and improve its appearance.

3. Dermal filler injection

This injection aims to replace lost collagen. Usually used to recover wrinkles, scars, and facial lines. This injection is temporary and can last up to 1 year.

4. Laser resurfacing and light therapy

Laser resurfacing uses high-energy rays to burn damaged skin. Usually used for wrinkled skin and minor scars. While the pulsed dye laser is a special action to remove the acne scars and eliminate them.

5. Punch graft

Punch graft is a small skin graft to replace scar skin, usually used to repair deep-seated acne scar holes.

6. Subcutanous incision

It is usually used to separate the skin and the injured layer and can flatten the pitted acne scars. Can also be called subcision.

7. Autologous fat transfer

This is a way of taking fat from other body parts to be injected into the skin. This procedure can also repair acne scar holes.

8. Injection

Usually referred to as intralesional injection, which includes a drug consisting of steroids which serves to remove the wound and make the skin smooth.

9. Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy is a technique to freeze scars that cause the wound to die and escape from the skin. Sometimes this technique is combined with injection techniques. Although this procedure will lighten the skin, the effect is that there will be some parts of the skin that are brighter (uneven).

10. Cream

Topical creams to treat scars consist of retinoids and silicon. The cream cannot completely remove acne scars, but it can help disguise its appearance.
